Privacy

Today this site collects nothing. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no cookie, and no third-party request of any kind — the fonts are served from this domain, which is what makes that claim literally true rather than a figure of speech.

When the access form is connected, it will collect the name, email and description of a setup that you type into it, and nothing else. We will use it to reply to you and to decide whether a mapping call makes sense. We will not sell it, share it, or add you to a list you did not ask for.

Your strategies, once you are a customer, are stored on our systems and are therefore readable by us in the way any hosted software can read what you store in it. During the concierge period a founder is in your strategy with you, on a call, by design. Outside that, we do not read customer strategies. If you have an edge you consider genuinely proprietary, be careful about which hosted tool you put it in — including this one. That is true of every product in this category, and anyone who tells you otherwise is overstating what hosted software can promise.

You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you, at any time, and we will. Export is unconditional: strategies, the full blotter and your signal history, as CSV, unwatermarked and readable without us.

Terms

This site is information about a product that is not yet generally available. Nothing on it is an offer, a contract, or a commitment to ship anything on any date. Ask us on the call where the line is between what runs today and what is being built, and we will tell you.

Cook does not place orders. Every trade is placed by you, on your own account, after you confirm it. There is no unattended mode and we are not building one. Cook never holds funds; if live trading ever opens, the API keys belong to you and stay on your machine.

Every figure in a product screen on this site is an illustrative fixture produced from inputs we control, shown to explain how the software behaves. None of it is a record of trading, and none of it is a claim about any account.

If something we told you was live turns out not to be, we refund without argument.

Nothing on this site is financial advice. Decisions to buy, sell, hold or trade are best made with qualified professional advice and with money you can afford to lose. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Hypothetical and simulated results have inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading: because the trades were never executed, they may under- or over-compensate for market factors such as lack of liquidity, and they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

We do not have access to our customers’ trading accounts or brokerage statements, so we have no basis to believe they perform better or worse than traders as a whole. We will not claim otherwise.

Cook runs your strategy accurately, filters it to what you can actually trade, and holds you to your own rules. If your strategy has an edge, doing those things properly should help. If it has none, Cook shows you that faster and more cheaply than the market will. We cannot tell you which of those is true of yours, and anyone in this category who answers that question differently is selling you something.
